We went to the Tulip Festival in Ottawa, a display of hundreds of thousands of tulips - it draws in more than half-a-million visitors each year... and on Day 1, many of the flowers were not even in bloom yet.
I was kinda disappointed, if I'm being honest. But then I started to envision what they COULD be; what they will be once they're at their full potential.
Each bulb was strategically planted months ago to create a specific design for the public to marvel at. And even though they hadn't yet opened up to their full potential, they were put there on purpose for a purpose.
